General Angling Rules
- Angling by rod and line, only one rod to be fished at any time
- Ground baiting, use of diving minnows, bubble float with fly and swim feeders are prohibited
- All trout are to be dispatched when caught, no keepnets, no trout are to be retained alive. No fish to be left at permit office.
- No cleaning of fish at the fishery. No fish to be placed in bins.
- Angling from 0800 hrs. till’ dusk, time displayed at bailiff’s office.
- Waste nylon and litter must not be discarded except in the bins provided. Sheep, cattle and all wildlife must be protected.
- No lighting of fires. No camping and no swimming
- Bags are liable to be searched
- Permits must be shown on demand to club officials and members who are all bailiffs
- Catch slip must be competed and returned to the Duty Bailiff
- No fishing from dam wall. No pike or perch fishing
- No fishing inside the white posts, at the pier bay on stocking days
Failure to obey the above rules may result in withdrawal of permit. Further action can be taken against repeat offenders. Obey the Country Code
