The Rosyth Area Angling Section was formed in 1961 and has a proud tradition of volunteering and providing high quality affordable fishing to Members and the general public.

Random check of fish catch will take place at any time. Any fish found over quota will be charged at £8 per fish.

All our active and elected Members give their time freely and on a voluntary basis. We continue to be the best value for money trout fishing in Fife & Central Scotland.

BBQs & fires are prohibited

Day Permit £20 take up to 4 fish
Family Permit £25 for 6 fish for up to 3 children under 13yrs who must stay within 20 yards of the adult.
Bait Anglers NO C & R, fish caught should be humanely dispatched immediately, a second permit can be purchased from Bailiff Office.
No BBQs, fires or cooking appliances

Fly anglers may Catch & Release up to 12 fish strictly with Barbless Hooks

Boats are available to anglers who have their own electric outboard and battery. Boat Hire £20 for non members. Wearing of lifejacket is compulsory and can be obtained on loan from Bailiff office for a deposit. Fly fishing Only From Boat.
Boats shoul be returned in a clean condition.

We are a mixed method fishery. Any legal method from bank for Bait fishing and fly fishing. The use of Swim Feeders or Ground Baiting may lead to the angler being banned.
Loch Glow Trout Fishery has long provided a nursery for growing the local angling community offering tremendous location on 110 Acre Loch in Fife for trout fishing.
